IWhen the sign of the hemispheric difference UPP changes, the immune activity changes significantly. The proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes under the influence of PHA was twice as high when UPP prevailed in the right hemisphere (Td> Ts) compared with the other groups of subjects .
The proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes under the influence of phytohemagglutinin (PHA) in three groups of subjects with different characteristics of the FMA.
The ordinate axis is the proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes in arbitrary units. It is known that changes in immune activity under the influence of stress are of a phase character. In the first stage of stress, the proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes increases and, as shown above, the activity of the right hemisphere increases. The different effects of the right and left hemispheres can be explained by the higher affinity of the corticoid receptors of the right hippocampal region compared to the left. The hippocampus is involved in the regulation of immunity by controlling the activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis . Therefore, it is natural that higher values of SCP in the right hemisphere compared with the left correlate with an increase in the proliferative activity of T-lymphocytes.
